Color Our World This Summer at the Library!” BRANCH KEY TABLE OF CONTENTS WOOSTER MAIN CRESTON RITTMAN SHREVE WEST SALEM DOYLESTOWN DALTON “ Get ready to add a splash of creativity and color to your summer with this year’s Summer Reading Club theme: “Color Our World!” We are inviting our entire community— kids, teens, and adults— to embark on a journey of art, imagination, and creativity. Whether you are painting, drawing, writing, or simply enjoying the colorful stories in your favorite books, join us as we celebrate the many ways art enriches our lives. And don’t forget to explore beyond the bookshelves! Our Library of Things has just what you need for summer fun and home projects. Borrow a pressure washer to freshen up your deck or siding or check out passes to the Akron Zoo or the McKinley Museum for a family adventure. Want to make summer memories at home? Try our ice cream maker or host a backyard party with outdoor lawn games— we even have pickleball equipment available to borrow! As we look ahead, many people are asking what they can do to support their libraries. With uncertainty around library funding in the state budget, the most powerful thing you can do is share your library story. Tell your friends and family why the library matters to you. Post on social media about how you use the library. Share a selfie or a family photo enjoying library programs or materials. Make sure your library card is current—or sign up for one if it’s been a while. Attend a program. Your enthusiasm is the best promotion we could ever ask for. Let’s color our world together— this summer, and all year long.
