Volunteer Needed

Title: Makerspace Volunteer

Library: Main Library – 220 West Liberty, Wooster

Summary of duties: Provides support to the Makerspace.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be dependable, familiar with
makerspace technology, and has the ability to work with patrons of all ages. Has the ability to
work independently and collaboratively as a contributing member of a team. Must be available
during lab hours (Thursdays 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Fridays 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)

Reports to: Adult Department Manager

Length of commitment: As mutually agreed/length of program

Involvement: As agreed

Responsibilities:
1. Assists with running makerspace equipment
2. Assists patrons with projects
3. Assist with lab hour needs
4. Other tasks, as needed and assigned
