Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest, a brilliant cavalry leader for the South, will be portrayed by Ron Johnson of Boardman, OH. Gen. Forrest was one of only a few soldiers on either side to enlist as a private and rise to the rank of general officer and division commander by the end of the war. Public welcome!
