What is a friends group?
A friends group consists of local volunteers who love the library and are dedicated to promote the services of the library. If you are interested in becoming a Dalton Library friend, please contact Teresa Jager at 330-828-8486 or email.

Some of our current projects include:
- Amazon book sales as a fundraiser
- Provide assistance and snacks for library programs
- Bi-monthly luncheon for library staff
Some of our past projects include:
- Orrville / Dalton YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2008
- Purchased and planted flowers at the Dalton Library 2008, 2010
- Purchased regrigerator/freeser for branch 2009
- Sponsored two library programs 2009
- Buehler's lunch stand fundraisers
The Dalton Friends of the Library meet bi-monthy on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov.)
