MOBILE BRANCH'S NEW LOOK UNVEILED AT THE COUNTY FAIR The Mobile Branch was unveiled at the Wayne County Fair sporting its new logo “Your Library on the Move”, announcing it as the Wayne County Public Library’s traveling branch. The mobile branch offers patrons a collection of materials and services like that of the other six branches. The Mobile Branch was visited by nearly 2,000 people while at the Wayne County Fair. Its appearance at the Fair celebrates 70 years of bookmobile service to our patrons. Many recounted good memories of bookmobile visits from their past. First time visitors were amazed that we looked “just like a library”…on wheels! Fair-goers even took a break from the Fair to sit and browse through the books, magazines, CDs ,and DVDs, to place a reserve to pick up at their local branch, or check out items. All ages were excited to enter the drawing for one of three Nook eReaders which were donated by the Friends of the Library groups across the county.
