Bookmobile
Since 1940 the Wayne County Public Library’s bookmobiles have been traveling the roads of Wayne County. The bookmobiles make a variety of stops throughout th
e
county. The Library’s bookmobiles serve preschools, county schools,
private schools as well as offering a wide variety of community stops
to serve the patrons of Wayne County. Last year 192,407
bookmobile items were circulated. Bookmobile stops are normally scheduled every three weeks during the school year and every two weeks during the summer. The bookmobiles carry a variety of materials to serve our patrons.
